Emu Valley Rhododendron Gardens

In our botanical paradise, we grow over half of the known approximately 1000 species of rhododendrons in the world.
Located near the port city of Burnie in Tasmania, come and discover our 11ha garden which houses over 24,000 plants in a woodland setting. It features rhododendrons from the icy Himalayas to tropical New Guinea, and across the Pacific to the Americas, all laid out in the geographical arrangement from where they originated along with their companion plants.
Dip Falls

Table Cape
Address: Table Cape TAS, Australia .Table Cape is an extinct volcano located near Wynyard on the North West of Tasmania, Australia, it is also the name of the locality which encompasses the geological feature. Table Cape is a more or less circular extinct volcano with a flat top, its northern and eastern faces rise steeply from Bass Strait to a height of approximately 170 metres (560 ft) above sea level.[2] It was named by British navigator, Matthew Flinders, as he and George Bass circumnavigated Van Diemen's Land (now Tasmania) in 1798 upon the Norfolk. Flinders also progressively named the nearby Circular Head, Three Hummock and Hunter Islands.[3]
Table Cape's top and surrounding areas are composed of fertile basalt soils and are heavily cultivated,[2] the area is renowned for the annual flowering of tulips during spring and accompanying tulip festival.[4] Table Cape locality has a population of 87
Stanley
Address: Stanley TAS, Australia .Stanley is a town on the north-west coast of Tasmania, Australia. It is the second-last major township on the north-west coast when travelling west, Smithton being the larger township in the Circular Head municipality. According to the 2021 census, Stanley had a population of 595.[1
Today Stanley is a tourist destination and the main fishing port on the northwest coast of Tasmania.
The most distinctive landmark in Stanley is Munatrik,[7] commonly called The Nut, an old extinct volcano. Bass and Flinders sighted it on their circumnavigation of Van Diemen's Land (now called Tasmania) in 1798 and named it Circular Head. It has steep sides and rises to 143 metres with a flat top. It is possible to walk to the top of The Nut via a steep track or a chairlift.
Tourists regularly travel to Highfield (the original home of the Van Diemen's Land company in Circular head, northwest of the township) to view the picturesque northern beaches with The Nut in the background. The port on the southern side of The Nut is a regularly used fishing spot.
